2021: New Special Offers and Updates to mCloud

The challenges of the past 12 months have made digital transformation a priority for enterprises in all industries. As markets continue to change dramatically and at speed, the widespread adoption of cloud technologies is helping organizations become more agile and connected to better serve customers and respond rapidly to new opportunities.

To help enterprises embrace new growth this spring and prepare for the coming year, CMI has created a Cloud Acceleration Program that makes it even easier for enterprises to leverage CMI’s global network to boost their cloud journey. CMI has also continued to enhance and extend the mCloud cloud-network integration platform to give enterprise customers access to visible, accessible and manageable cloud-network solutions.

Building on CMI’s extensive global network and resources, CMI mCloud incorporates an extensive partner ecosystem that includes world-leading cloud service providers (CSPs) such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Baidu Cloud and UCloud. It enables cloud interconnections across different CSPs and regions via more than 80 Cloud Connect POPs (points of presence) worldwide and provides an array of advanced products and services, ranging from cloud connectivity, multi-cloud management to SD-WAN (software-defined wide-area network), content delivery, application acceleration, and software- and platform-as-a-service (SaaS and PaaS) solutions.

Among the new platform developments recently announced are an upgraded mCloud portal, which is both more comprehensive and easier to use, and a new prepaid & top-up service that has been streamlined for customer onboarding and subscribing cloud services. End-to-end billing automation and coupon codes are also now available via mCloud portal, along with a new Cloud Usage Report that gives IT managers greater visibility to their public cloud infrastructure and usage trends for better resource planning and cost optimization.

CMI presents a bouquet of mCloud spring offers

To encourage enterprises to experience the convenience of mCloud cloud-network solutions and begin cloud deployment, CMI has created various special offers for spring 2021:

  • Customers that sign up for iSolutions services, such as Cloud Network, Connectivity, IoT, ICT or Data Center service before June 30, 2021 are eligible to receive public cloud vouchers from mCloud worth up to US$30,000. These are redeemable globally with CMI’s world-leading public cloud service provider partners.
  • CMI has upgraded its Free Trial Program, providing customers with a 30-day free trial of Cloud Connect and SD-WAN services as well as a 14-day free trial of Application Acceleration Network services. Customers joining the program will also receive a voucher worth up to USD 500 to try the multi-cloud and SaaS services on the mCloud platform.
  • New SMS customers can take advantage of introductory packages that provide up to 10,000 free SMS messages for global deployment until June 30, 2021, which covers major countries and regions in APAC, Europe, and America.

Recent mCloud deployments overcome complexity

Since its launch in May 2019, mCloud has helped more than 12,000 enterprises worldwide efficiently deploy and manage innovative cloud and network products.

A recent project involved tailoring a Cloud Management Platform for a major multinational corporation in energy sector. It was operating a complex dual public cloud environment alongside legacy systems and private cloud infrastructure. Unfortunately, this complexity made it very difficult to monitor and analyse the network, optimize workloads or manage costs. CMI was able to customize, configure and deploy a secure and intelligent hybrid multi-cloud management platform that empowered the customer’s digital transformation. CMI also provides support services to free the company’s IT team to focus on adding value.

Another customer, a leading publisher with offices worldwide, was using an extensive global multi-cloud infrastructure to host almost all of its enterprise applications. However, it needed a secure and reliable way to bridge its cloud platform in China with on-premises infrastructure overseas and allow its entire workforce to access the same SaaS applications. CMI enabled it to replace an unstable VPN (virtual private network) with a hybrid network of SD-WAN connections and Cloud Connect.

Although mCloud was a non-standard solution, it was built using standard CMI products to deliver global scalability and service level agreements. This underscores CMI’s strengths in meeting customers’ evolving needs and working both globally and with local partners to tailor solutions.

CMI Russia office was established in 2017 and currently provides telecom services for carrier, enterprise and mobile user. The Moscow Cloud Gateway has been established and has the ability to provide high-quality cloud-network services.
